Nurses have treated bedsores with Silver-Impregnated Dressing, APD pad, hydrogel, and diaper. Until the “4-IN-1 MEDICATED DIAPER FOR BEDSORES.”
A standard way for nurses to treat bedsores on the lower back region is by applying:
1. Silver-impregnated dressing,
2. APB pad,
3. hydrogel,
4. Diaper.
I propose combining all 4 of these treatments into 1 diaper.
Why is this solution superior?
Applying 4 treatments correctly requires a trained nurse.
But anybody can pull a diaper on:
1. Untrained caregivers,
2. Nurses with a high patient load who need speed and efficiency,
3. Patients themselves.
